Dr. Fung to Perform Bach throughout Central Pennsylvania

Dr. Eric Fung, Carmean Endowed Professor of Music (piano), will perform J.S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations, BWV 988, and Italian Concerto, BWV 971, in three upcoming concert performances. Dr. Fung, a Steinway Artist, will perform a faculty recital in Lutz Music Hall on Jan. 30, and at the Trust Performing Arts Center on Feb. 4, which is sponsored by the Lancaster International Piano Festival on Feb. 4. He will complete his trio of Bach piano concerts at the Pine Street Presbyterian Church on Feb. 5 as part of their Music at Pine Street Series. 

Pianist Dr. Eric Fung Performs Live on WRTI

Dr. Eric Fung, associate professor of music, performed live on Temple University’s WRTI 90.1 Feb. 26. Fung, a Steinway artist, performed in honor of the company’s 165th anniversary. He played “Overture” from J.S. Bach’s Overture in the French manner, the first movement of Mozart’s Sonata in A-minor, the Intermezzo in A-minor of Brahms, and Debussy’s “La Vent dans la Plaine.”
