Brandon Bauer ’24 Presents Research in New Orleans

Brandon Bauer ’24 (physicsmath, and computer & data science) presented a poster, “Numerical Study of Single-Inclusive Longitudinal-Transverse Double-Spin Asymmetries in Electron-Nucleon and Proton-Proton Collisions,” at the APS Division of Nuclear Physics Meeting in New Orleans, LA.  The research was performed over the summer with Dr. Daniel Pitonyak, assistant professor of physics, and Cody Shay ’24 (physics) . The work was supported by Dr. Pitonyak’s National Science Foundation (NSF) grant.

Boal ’22 and Kemmery ’22 Awarded Clark Associates Scholarships

Randal McCarty P’97, Clark Associates Foundation director and director of recruitment, announced that Logan Boal ’22 (actuarial science and computer & data science) and Brandon Kemmery ’22 (digital communications) were selected to receive $5,000 grants through LVC’s Clark Associates Scholarships. Clark Scholarships are awarded to current sophomores and juniors with outstanding leadership skills or an entrepreneurial spirit. Clark Associates Inc., in Lancaster, is one of the fastest growing companies in Central Pennsylvania, with more than 2,800 employees, including 20+ LVC alumni.

Dustin Adams ’13 Named President of Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce

Dustin Adams ’13, computer & data science and mathematics, was named president of the Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce, Kutztown. Adams, who owns an Edward Jones branch, has been active in the chamber, including as a director and member of several committees and task forces.
