STEM Adjunct Named National Science Ambassador

Jeff Remington, a longtime adjunct instructor in the Master of Science in STEM Education Program, was chosen as a 2017 Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Teacher Ambassador for the National Science Teachers Association and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Remington, also a longtime life sciences teacher at Palmyra Area Middle School, was just one of 10 teachers nationally to be selected for this honor, which requires nominees to have previously received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching from the White House. Remington received the Presidential Award in 2002.
