Heffner also directs the Pride of the Valley marching band each<br>fall semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>This concert provided a unique opportunity to Ephrata High School students, allowing them to<br>perform for a collegiate-level ensemble, as well as providing them with the chance to hear such<br>an ensemble perform for them. These types of experiences inspire many high schoolers to<br>pursue music after high school, either as a career or simply continuing to study music as a<br>hobby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>LVC\u2019s music students also get the chance to set an example for potential future music<br>department Dutchmen during events like this.
