Brook Corfman will be visiting campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Corfman will be reading from their latest poetry collection, \u201cMy Daily Actions, or The Meteorites.\u201d The collection deals with issues of gender identity and expression in contemporary America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s such a smart collection that is also emotionally resonant,\u201d Dr. Holly Wendt, associate professor of English and director of creative writing, said. \u201cIt demonstrates that it is possible for poetry to be accessible and intense at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Tuesday, April 12, at 7 p.m. in the Bishop Library Atrium and via Zoom.
