{"id":6558,"date":"2020-12-01T14:08:18","date_gmt":"2020-12-01T14:08:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wordpress.lvc.edu\/wordpress\/lavie\/?p=6558"},"modified":"2020-12-01T14:08:18","modified_gmt":"2020-12-01T14:08:18","slug":"together-we-did-it-short-film-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.lvc.edu\/lavie\/2020\/12\/01\/together-we-did-it-short-film-event\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cTogether We Did It\u201d short film event"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"dslc-theme-content\"><div id=\"dslc-theme-content-inner\"><p>By Gabbie Witter &#8217;20, staff writer<\/p>\n<p>The Allen Theatre is calling all videographers to share a short film for its \u201cTogether We Did It\u201d event.<br \/>\nThe theatre is collecting 3-5 minute film submissions that it plans to show as a collection to the public once it is safe to do so.<br \/>\n\u201cWe want to show a collection of short films, created by you, that chronicles the struggles, the togetherness, and the triumph over Covid-19,\u201d Ed Felty, owner of The Allen Theatre and The Backstage Caf\u00e9, said.<br \/>\nSubmissions are open to anyone with a story to share, but the theatre does not have a date for the event yet.<br \/>\n\u201cOnce we can have the theatre full with people and no fears, then we will hold the event,\u201d Felty said.<br \/>\nThe film submissions can be a movie, slideshow or combination of both and must have the title \u201cTogether, We Did It!\u201d<br \/>\nThe event is not a competition, but a celebration.
