Selections included empanadas and Puerto Rican egg&nbsp;nog, among other choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA&nbsp;big part of Hispanic culture is our food,\u201d Yeika Pizarro, sophomore psychology major and club president, said. \u201cThat being said, we wanted to share that with the rest of campus and also bring a peace of home to other Hispanic students at LVC.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previous events during the month included Salsa Night,&nbsp;a&nbsp;cultural&nbsp;dine-in,&nbsp;and a showing of the movie \u201cPrada to Nada.\u201d As for upcoming events, the club will host a pot painting night on Oct. 9, at 7 p.m. and a speech\/karaoke contest in conjunction with the Spanish department on Oct. 15.
