This year will be the 16th conference. It will take place via Webex, rather than in-person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Snyder,&nbsp;Chair of the music department and Director of Music Business Concentration, is currently working&nbsp;alongside&nbsp;LVC students to plan out the logistics of the conference.&nbsp;Among these students is Brandon&nbsp;Vance,&nbsp;who is this year\u2019s student-elected president for the conference.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vance said, \u201cThis year is different. Never before have we been in a situation where an in-person conference is not an option\u201d. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then Vance went on to say that an online conference does, however, have its advantages. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe can get speakers we never thought possible. There are no restrictions when it comes to travel or cost.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The plan this year is to draw on the vast network of Alumni who are in the industries. The focus will be on the Media Industries: Post COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guest speakers will be announced later in the semester.
