As seen on its\nLVC website, the IT department is not taking walk-ins until further notice as a\npart of the guidelines and are only doing appointments. This can be a hassle\nfor LVC students, since the convenience of walking into the Lynch basement at\nany time if their phone or laptop is having issues is no longer available to\nthem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With more classes doing online Zoom meetings as a substitute\nfor in-class sessions, this inconvenience is exacerbated. However, despite the\ninconvenience this might bring to students, some students seem to be\nunderstanding of this guideline relating to COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhile I think it is an inconvenience, it\u2019s something that\nwe can adapt to,\u201d Tanner Haynes, junior major in political science, said. &nbsp;\u201cIf it makes campus safer and helps keep us on\ncampus, I cannot complain too much.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new guidelines on campus have been in affect for the\npast two weeks, with very few COVID-19 cases and an optimistic staff who hope\nto keep it that way. <\/p>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>By: Tyler Nell \u201921, Staff Writer In a time when Zoom meetings are abound, Information Technology means everything.
