Despite being unable to host students on campus on\na regular daily basis, throughout the summer the office found ways to engage\nwith students through virtual tours and information sessions, as well as\nevening in-person \u201cTwilight Tours.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\noffice will increase its number of daily in-person tours from two time slots\nper day to three, with families able to register for tours at 9 a.m., 11 a.m.\nand 1 p.m. During these tours, prospective students and their families will get\nthe opportunity to tour campus with a student tour guide and attend an\ninformation session with an admissions counselor all while following safety and\nphysical distancing protocols. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMasks\nare a mandatory thing for anyone on campus, visitors especially,\u201d Cole Godfrey,\nAssistant Director of Admissions, said. \u201cWe\u2019ve made sure entry ways and exits\nall don\u2019t flow the same way. Families are also given a sheet to fill out when\nthey get to campus to ensure that they haven\u2019t been in contact with someone\nwho\u2019s tested positive for COVID-19.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Along\nwith in-person tour opportunities, students and families who are unable to\nphysically visit campus may continue to opt for an interactive virtual tour on\nweekdays at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 pm. These tours will be led by a student tour\nguide and can be followed up with a virtual information session with an\nadmissions counselor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s\nimportant that we continue to show off campus and recruit students for years to\ncome,\u201d Godfrey said. \u201cWe are confident that everything will be safe with the\nway our office has been set up and the physical distancing protocols that have\nbeen put into place.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nOffice of Admissions will continue to adjust and schedule tours and other\nvisiting opportunities in adherence with safety protocols and social distancing\nguidelines. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>By Megan Finlan \u201921, co-editor in chief The Office of Admissions is set to welcome prospective students and families back to campus for limited in-person tours.
