Even though students are no longer on campus, there are still plenty of library resources available to them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access to 150+ databases, 100,000+ online journals, and 200,000+ eBook titles are available from the library\u2019s main webpage<\/a>. If the desired resource is not there, the InterLibrary Loan process to borrow resources from other institutions is still up and running. The service may not be as extensive as when campuses were open, but it is still active and available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The library\u2019s Ask a Librarian service is available for students to be remotely assisted by a staff member. Access this service here<\/a>. Virtual research consultations can also be booked here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRemember library use, even virtually, has a positive impact on your student success,\u201d Maureen Bentz, interim director of Bishop Library, said. \u201cLearning how to find and use better resources leads to better papers, which results in better grades.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Checked out library items are not due until May 10 for seniors and August 31 for students returning to campus. An email will be sent directly to seniors with items checked out with instructions to return them once mail services on campus are able to resume. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBishop Library staff realizes that everyone is overloaded with information,\u201d Bentz said. \u201cTransitioning to virtual learning is not easy for many. So please know that the friendly, customer service-driven staff at Bishop Library are only a text, email or phone call away. We want you to be successful and connect you with the information you need, just like we\u2019ve always done in person.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
