Community members can vote via paper ballot located at the local libraries or online.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voting&nbsp;for summer 2020&nbsp;ran from March 1,&nbsp;through March 31.&nbsp;The winning book will be announced on Friday, May 1.&nbsp;The titles up for selection this year were&nbsp;\u201cThe Dearly Beloved\u201d&nbsp;by Cara Wall;&nbsp;\u201cMaid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother\u2019s Will to Survive\u201d&nbsp;by Stephanie Land;&nbsp;\u201cThe Other Americans\u201d&nbsp;by Laila&nbsp;Lalami;&nbsp;\u201cThe Poet X\u201d&nbsp;by Elizabeth Acevedo;&nbsp;\u201cRunning With Sherman: The Donkey With The Heart Of A Hero\u201d&nbsp;by Christopher McDougall and&nbsp;\u201cThe Widows\u201d&nbsp;by Jess Montgomery.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Past winners include&nbsp;<em>The Baker\u2019s Secret<\/em>&nbsp;by Stephen P. Kiernan in 2019 and<em>&nbsp;<\/em><em>America\u2019s First Daughter<\/em>&nbsp;by Stephanie Dray and Laura&nbsp;Kamoie&nbsp;in 2018.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The author of the&nbsp;winning&nbsp;book will visit Congregation Beth Israel&nbsp;in September for the culmination of the event.
