The Lebanon Valley College football team will look to turn its season around this Saturday, as<\/div>\n
they take on the Stevenson Mustangs.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
LVC\u2019s football team hasn\u2019t gotten off to the start it had hoped for this year. Following last<\/div>\n
Saturday\u2019s hard fought loss to Widener, the team’s record is 0-4. But while the Dutchmen\u2019s record<\/div>\n
might look bad on paper, they have played their opponents tough all season, and have no<\/div>\n
intentions of letting up in the future.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cWe are by no means happy with being 0-4, but our confidence hasn\u2019t wavered a bit,\u201d Ryan<\/div>\n
Fink, senior running back and team captain, said. \u201cWe\u2019ve had a shot to win every game so far,<\/div>\n
but just haven\u2019t had the breaks fall our way yet. We believe that will change against Stevenson.\u201d<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The Dutchmen will be faced with a difficult matchup against Stevenson, who is 2-1 in MAC play<\/div>\n
and currently tied for 3rd\u00a0in the conference, on Saturday. The Mustangs only conference loss<\/div>\n
came last weekend when they fell to the defending conference champs, and still undefeated in<\/div>\n
the MAC, Delaware Valley, 31-20.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cThere is no denying that Stevenson is a good football team, but so are we,\u201d Jared Kramp, senior<\/div>\n
wide receiver, said. \u201cAnd although we may be underdogs this Saturday, we like our chances<\/div>\n
against Stevenson, especially having upset them last year.\u201d<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
