He currently teaches a fourth-grade intermediate class at Hershey Elementary.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have to fit basketball in with teaching since it takes up most of my time,\u201d Andrew Eberhart, a senior forward, said. \u201cMost times the team has lift and conditioning while I\u2019m still at school. It\u2019s not easy doing everything myself when there is no one to motivate you, but I love teaching and my time at school is rewarding.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He is familiar with the challenge of being a student-athlete, having played on the basketball team for the past three years, however this teaching job brings a new chapter to his college experience.<\/p>\n<p>Eberhart&#8217;s motivation to teach stems from his early years in school.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI moved to another school in first grade and my teacher made my year great. Ever since that year I have wanted to become a teacher because of her,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The basketball season is soon approaching and Eberhart looks to be a key role for the team\u2019s success being one of only two seniors.
