VALE Music Group welcomed students into the new school year with a concert featuring four acts of student performers. <\/span><\/p>\n

The gloomy weather did not keep VALE\u2019s Back In Bash from being a lively, fun-filled evening. Ethan Swayze, an electronic artist, opened the night with original music and remixes. He was followed by Pink Lemons and Dipped, two student bands on campus. <\/span><\/p>\n

Henry Devorick, the newly-signed VALE artist of the year, closed the night with his signature rhythm and blues style. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat made the night successful was the fact that there were multiple artists performing for shorter lengths of time,\u201d Ethan Swayze, a sophomore audio and music production major, said.<\/span><\/p>\n

This type of concert gives the audience a variety of music; there was something for everybody. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Bash was held inside the Mund living room to avoid pending rain. Despite the dreary conditions outside, many students came out to support their peers and enjoy the music while munching on complimentary soft pretzels and Hershey kisses. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe had food, we had lights. It was a good time,\u201d Swayze said. <\/span><\/p>\n

The show was a great success in that it gave students an opportunity to relax and listen to live music created and performed by their peers. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
