A selection of coffees, teas and snacks are offered to students as a way to gather and conversate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love Global Coffee Hours because they\u2019re a great way to end the week,\u201d said a junior digital communications and global studies double major, Devon Malloy. \u201c It\u2019s fun to learn about the world through the eyes of LVC students, professors, and staff, and coffee hour gives you the opportunity to hear about places you\u2019ve maybe never heard of before through all sorts of perspectives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Students learn\u00a0and present about a range of international topics, which includes\u00a0study abroad.<\/p>\n<p>The next Global Coffee Hour will be held Friday, Apr.\u00a0 27 at 3 p.m. The social event will be about the topic of \u201cAfrica.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>By Janessa Cruz Caffeine, culture and conversations\u00a0is\u00a0Global Coffee Hour summed up in three words.
