Lynch Memorial Hall will host Lebanon Valley College\u2019s first ever Breast Cancer Awareness show, thanks to the efforts of one of LVC\u2019s campus bands.<\/p>\n<p>When Pink Lemons posed the idea of playing a show, they weren\u2019t sure what to dedicate the gig to. Pink Lemons had been looking for a reason to promote a show in October; they wanted something more appealing than celebrating Halloween. They found it \u2013 breast cancer awareness.<\/p>\n<p>Steve Mazur, the band\u2019s frontman and junior music major, has been directly affected by the disease. Mazur\u2019s mother is a breast cancer survivor, and he keeps her in mind with regards to awareness.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s [Mazur\u2019s mom and the show] just a coincidence, though!\u201d Mazur said.<\/p>\n<p>While looking for local talent to represent the cause, Pink Lemons reached out to alumni Indiana Bolger, Tyler Kollinok and Dean Howey to bring their acoustic stylings to project. To round out the balance of bands, Dipped will also play a set.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBe there because it\u2019ll be fun,\u201d Matt Frey, a junior music major and percussionist for Pink Lemons, said.<\/p>\n<p>One can come support Breast Cancer Awareness at the \u201cGet Pink\u2019d!\u201d concert in the Clyde A.
