{"id":16109,"date":"2025-11-19T14:38:38","date_gmt":"2025-11-19T14:38:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.lvc.edu\/lavie\/?p=16109"},"modified":"2026-02-24T19:45:46","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T19:45:46","slug":"student-with-summer-internship-at-hershey-entertainment-resorts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.lvc.edu\/lavie\/2025\/11\/19\/student-with-summer-internship-at-hershey-entertainment-resorts\/","title":{"rendered":"Student with summer internship at Hershey Entertainment &amp; Resorts"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"dslc-theme-content\"><div id=\"dslc-theme-content-inner\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By Collin Regina \u201928, staff writer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An LVC student got to enjoy his summer in Hershey doing an internship for Hershey Entertainment and Resorts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jacob Mrose, a graduate student at LVC, worked at The Hotel Hershey this summer as a part of the company's hospitality internship program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDuring my time with Hershey Entertainment and Resorts, I was given the opportunity to have so many different experiences and put myself in brand new environments,\" Mrose said, \"Through the Hospitality Internship Program (HIP), I worked with the front of house operations, which was the overarching department of customer experience.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mrose was exposed to many opportunities that directly impacted what he may want to do in the future. As a business administration major, the insight was valuable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDue to the way the program was set up, I found it super beneficial to be trained and experience all aspects of the department, as it gave me real-time experience in whatever project, activity or work must\u2019ve been done at that time,\" Mrose said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With that, Mrose will begin job hunting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>By Collin Regina \u201928, staff writer An LVC student got to enjoy his summer in Hershey doing an internship for Hershey Entertainment and Resorts.
