{"id":16108,"date":"2025-11-18T13:49:47","date_gmt":"2025-11-18T13:49:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.lvc.edu\/lavie\/?p=16108"},"modified":"2026-04-16T13:34:11","modified_gmt":"2026-04-16T13:34:11","slug":"rory-leibermans-dedication-leads-the-dutchmen-to-championship-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.lvc.edu\/lavie\/2025\/11\/18\/rory-leibermans-dedication-leads-the-dutchmen-to-championship-success\/","title":{"rendered":"Rory Lieberman\u2019s dedication leads the Dutchmen to championship success"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"dslc-theme-content\"><div id=\"dslc-theme-content-inner\">\n<p>By Avrey Grimm \u201826, staff writer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For LVC cross country standout Rory Lieberman, success didn\u2019t come overnight; it was built through months of consistent training, early mornings and a drive to push past limits, all of which led him to an unforgettable season.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhile training is a year-long endeavor, I would say that cross country training starts at the beginning of summer, working for months on end before coming to campus,&#8221; Lieberman said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The biggest thing is putting in the miles and&nbsp;workouts&nbsp;with the team and putting the work in every day,\u201d Leiberman said. \u201cFrom last year I have increased my mileage to allow myself to build a great aerobic base while also doing workouts two to three times a week since July.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lieberman\u2019s commitment paid off in a big way.
