{"id":13583,"date":"2025-04-24T12:54:13","date_gmt":"2025-04-24T12:54:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wordpress.lvc.edu\/wordpress\/lavie\/?p=13583"},"modified":"2025-06-05T23:43:41","modified_gmt":"2025-06-05T23:43:41","slug":"capstone-night-for-slp-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.lvc.edu\/lavie\/2025\/04\/24\/capstone-night-for-slp-students\/","title":{"rendered":"Capstone night for SLP students"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"dslc-theme-content\"><div id=\"dslc-theme-content-inner\">\n<p>(By Sarah Kramer \u201925, staff writer)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second year graduate students of the speech-language pathology program shared their research at the SLP Capstone Symposium on Monday, April 21. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the summer of 2024, students chose a topic of interest and then conducted research on this topic throughout the summer, fall and spring semesters.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When conducting research, the students could either conduct a study which included surveys, workshops, groups and interviews, or they could do a systematic review which included gathering research from various articles and compiling it together.
