With Black History Month underway, the Black Student Union (BSU) at LVC is making sure it\u2019s one to remember.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students can attend the first-ever comedy performance hosted by BSU this month. Sign up on Redbook now to see Trey Mack in Zimmerman Hall on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then on Friday, Feb. 21, the BSU will be hosting a jukebox night in collaboration with the Student Programming Board. Students will be able to listen to music from Black artists and make crafts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The annual BSU unity vigil will be held in Miller Chapel on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 6:30 p.m. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is a time for the LVC community to come together to realize how impactful we can be when we come together and work together for a common goal,\u201d Hannah Shelley, a senior neuroscience major and president of the BSU, said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clio and the BSU will also be collaborating to host a movie night on Thursday, Feb. 27, so keep an eye on their respective Instagrams @cliolvc and @bsu_lvc to vote on which movie they play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BSU aren\u2019t the only ones hosting events to celebrate Black History Month. The DEIB office is hosting The Players Club Steppers, and a subsequent Q&A panel discussion on Thursday, Feb. 20, in Blair Music Center. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
