Study abroad offers a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a new environment and to facilitate personal growth through global experiences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fall semester abroad program in London, England, gives students of any major the opportunity to fulfill course requirements while attending Kingston University. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kingston University is located in Kingston-upon-Thames, a riverside town in southwest London. The lively, countryside town has plenty to offer, from shops to a range of restaurants, pubs and cafes, and is a 25-minute train ride to central London.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caleigh Keiser, a junior medical humanities and sociology major, recently studied abroad in London and enjoyed her time there.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy favorite part of studying abroad has been traveling and experiencing a different part of the world at a slower pace, allowing immersion into a new culture beyond the big touristy places,\u201d Keiser said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students who study abroad not only get to grow academically in a culturally new environment but also grow and challenge themselves outside their comfort zone.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI feel that studying abroad has taught me a lot about myself, and taught me independence,\u201d Keiser said. \u201cBefore studying abroad, I was afraid to go to new places alone, but now I feel much more confident in myself and my ability to travel solo.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
