{"id":12979,"date":"2025-01-22T15:40:27","date_gmt":"2025-01-22T15:40:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wordpress.lvc.edu\/wordpress\/lavie\/?p=12979"},"modified":"2025-01-22T15:40:27","modified_gmt":"2025-01-22T15:40:27","slug":"nightfall-with-edgar-allen-poe-to-feature-asl-interpreters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.lvc.edu\/lavie\/2025\/01\/22\/nightfall-with-edgar-allen-poe-to-feature-asl-interpreters\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cNightfall with Edgar Allen Poe\u201d to feature ASL interpreters"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"dslc-theme-content\"><div id=\"dslc-theme-content-inner\">\n<p>(By Katherine Buerke \u201926, staff writer)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wig and Buckle Theater Company will host an ASL-interpreted performance of its latest production, \u201cNightfall with Edgar Allen Poe,\u201d on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 7 p.m. in Leedy Theatre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The American Sign Language (ASL) &nbsp;interpreters, Lentha Zinsky and Maggie Zuvich, will sign for a variety of different characters, bringing a new layer of accessibility to the stage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wig and Buckle collaborated with LVC\u2019s ASL club to bring the interpreters to campus.
