{"id":12745,"date":"2024-10-21T18:28:44","date_gmt":"2024-10-21T18:28:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wordpress.lvc.edu\/wordpress\/lavie\/?p=12745"},"modified":"2024-10-21T18:28:44","modified_gmt":"2024-10-21T18:28:44","slug":"lvcs-nsslha","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.lvc.edu\/lavie\/2024\/10\/21\/lvcs-nsslha\/","title":{"rendered":"LVC\u2019s NSSLHA"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"dslc-theme-content\"><div id=\"dslc-theme-content-inner\">\n<p>(Abigail Adams \u201825, staff writer)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chapter of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA) at LVC provides students the opportunity to get involved in activities that line up with their major and the profession itself.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LVC\u2019s branch of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association strives to create opportunities for students to get involved in the community through many events and recreational activities.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis month we just hosted a bake sale for Autism Awareness Day,\u201d Gwen Sears, member of the club, said. \u201cWe will also be participating in Annville\u2019s Pumpkin Walk and Monster Mash.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the club is specifically directed towards Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) majors, it is open to all students looking to learn more about the SLP profession and ways they can give back to their community in general.
