The baseball team has a tough stretch coming up, as they play five games in the next seven days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four out of the five games are inter-conference matchups, so it will be important for the Dutchmen to collect as many wins as possible. The team currently sits one game under .500, with a record of 11-12. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first of the games will be at home against Misericordia University on Monday, April 8, at 3:30 p.m. It will likely be the Dutchmen\u2019s toughest game, with Misericordia having an impressive 16-7 record. LVC has faced them in the last two games and lost by the scores of 5-1 and 15-8. Be sure to come out and support the team as it looks to win this important game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next game of the week is against Stockton University in New Jersey. This game will take place on Tuesday, April 9, at 3:30 p.m. It will likely be easier than the Dutchmen\u2019s series against Misericordia; however, Stockton still holds a solid 13-10 record.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next three games are part of a three-game series against King\u2019s College. The first will be away at King\u2019s College on Friday, April 12, at 3:30 p.m. The next two will be played in the form of a double-header on Saturday, April 13, at home. The first game will be played at 12 p.m. and the second at 3:30 p.m.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

King\u2019s College has struggled this season, as its 8-14 record displays, so the Dutchmen will need to capitalize in these three inter-conference games. A sweep would help the Dutchmen move up in the rankings and make a late playoff push. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
