LVC\u2019s chapter of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) will debut its first-ever talent show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The talent show will feature more than 30 students, with the acts ranging from singing and acting to drawing and Irish step dancing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am most excited about seeing each of the acts,\u201d Anna Romano, a sophomore music education major and treasurer of NAfME, said. \u201cWe have a large variety of talents, and I am really looking forward to how [the performers] present them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While NAfME is the lone sponsor of the talent show, it had help from Valley Audio and Wig and Buckle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI wanted to include other members of the music department as much as possible because we all have different expertise,\u201d Romano said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The judges include a mix of professors and community members, but the audience will also play an important role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Audience members can donate to vote for their favorite act. The performance that earns the most money will receive the audience\u2019s choice award. First, second and third-place winners and the audience\u2019s choice winner will receive gift cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NAfME officers have been working on the talent show for months and look forward to seeing it all come together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI cannot wait to see our hard work pay off,\u201d Romano said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
