{"id":11357,"date":"2024-02-01T08:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-02-01T08:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wordpress.lvc.edu\/wordpress\/lavie\/?p=11357"},"modified":"2026-08-18T22:34:52","modified_gmt":"2026-08-18T22:34:52","slug":"dont-miss-this-semesters-pizza-with-professionals-events","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.lvc.edu\/lavie\/2024\/02\/01\/dont-miss-this-semesters-pizza-with-professionals-events\/","title":{"rendered":"Don\u2019t miss this semester\u2019s Pizza with Professionals events"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"dslc-theme-content\"><div id=\"dslc-theme-content-inner\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By Jess Benninger \u201926, associate editor&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Breen Center for Career and Professional Development will host four Pizza with Professionals events this semester.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pizza with Professionals (PWP) allows students to hear from experts from various job backgrounds on important career-related topics.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following are this semester\u2019s opportunities:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On Thursday, Feb. 1, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Debbie Arendt of WellSpan Health will present on making a positive first impression in interviews.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On Thursday, Feb. 22, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Jared Sekellick of the Pennsylvania National Guard will present on military careers and federal jobs.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On Thursday, March 14, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Kristi Riley-Platt of Traditions Bank in York will present on financial literacy.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On Thursday, April 18, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Claire Messimer of Clair Global will present on personal branding and its significance in the professional world.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All PWP events will take place in the Mund College Center Underground.
