Final C.R.E.W. training of the semester coming up

by Tyler Perhac ’20, Staff Writer

Community Response for Everyone’s Wellbeing (C.R.E.W.) is set to hold their final Bystander Intervention training of the semester, as a way to ensure safety across campus for students.

Students interested in the training can sign up on Redbook to attend the events. All trainees must attend both sessions in order to become fully C.R.E.W. trained.

The sessions will be held in the Bishop Library in room 125 on Nov. 12 and Nov. 19 from 6-8p.m..

Formerly known as Green Dot, C.R.E.W. is a bystander prevention program aiming to create a safe atmosphere and a climate across campus intolerant of power based personal violence.

Since the beginning of October, more than 70 new bystanders have been trained. C.R.E.W. also invites LVC faculty and staff members to register for training.
