The Dutchmen fell to Widener University on Saturday, Sept. 29, after a comeback in the fourth quarter.

The team entered the fourth quarter behind Widener with a score of 21-6. With two touchdowns, the Dutchmen closed the gap to tie the game at 21 with 10:32 left on the clock.

Widener took the lead with 5:16 left in the game and the Dutchmen were unable to respond. The game ended with a score of 27-21.

The next home game for the Dutchmen will be the Homecoming game against Misericordia University on Oct. 13, at 1 p.m.
