Time management at its best

Tim Blauch is a great example of a dedicated and hard-working student at Lebanon Valley College; Blauch endures a heavy course load in addition to several extracurricular activities.

Blauch majors in economics and accounting with a minor in business administration. Even with taking on a double major and a minor, he will graduate this spring in four years. He has taken advantage of every opportunity that has presented itself while at LVC.

“This has been the best four years of my life and I made lifelong friends along the way,” Blauch said. “My education at LVC has allowed me to improve my organizational skills, leadership skills and my ability to improvise when things don’t go according to plan.”

Blauch’s outstanding GPA and work in the classroom allowed him to become a member of the Business Honor’s Society and the National Society of Leadership and Success. He also has worked as a tutor for the College’s accounting and economics departments.

In addition to his work in the classroom over the past four years, Blauch has served as a manager for the men’s basketball team. Blauch raved about his experience with the team and how important it was to him.

“I can honestly say, I didn’t run into a player during my four years that I didn’t get along with,” Blauch said. “I met so many great players, coaches, SIDs, and fans. I can’t even imagine my four years at LVC without being a part of the team.”

After graduation, Blauch plans to take a year off before attending law school. He plans to attain his Juris Doctor and a Masters in Public Policy. Blauch is still unsure of which law school he will attend, but hopes to work one day on Capitol Hill.
