Can you Guess the Professor?

This week’s professor from “On the Go” is Theresa J. Rosenberg, Visiting Assistant Professor of English. She has been teaching at Lebanon Valley College for the past four years as an adjunct, but recently moved into her position as a visiting assistant professor this year.

“This is my fourth year teaching at LVC where my unnatural love of grammar and syntax torments and challenges my students,” Rosenberg said.

She began her college career studying study actuarial science, but realized it was not the right fit for her. Rosenberg went back to her love of language and received a BA in Russian Literature at the University of California Irvine and her MA in Linguistics at Ohio University. Her love of language has led her to study French, Arabic, Russian and Polish throughout her life.

Rosenberg has travelled quite a lot in her life. She was born in San Luis Obispo, California, where she grew up on a farm but moved to Pennsylvania six years ago. This is the longest she has lived anywhere since 1994. As a teenager she even lived in Sanaa, Yemen for a period of time. Some of her favorite places she has visited are Istanbul, Prague and Bali.
